Soup-in-the-Park
Starting Saturday October 31st Noon
"Served with love since 2005"

October 31, 2009 will be our first Soup in the Park for the season. We will have them the last Saturday of every month. Volunteers are needed to make soup or cookies and/or to “man” the soup table in the park and/or get the word of invitation out to the marginalized in our community (street folks, care homes, senior center, children (and their families). In the 2008 season over 1500 complete chicken dinners were gven away. Thanks to all who lent a hand by contributing food products, finances, or actully serving on-site!.

Children's Nursery Finished

The remodeling of our childen's nursery & toddler area is finished! Thanks to many labor of love hours by Brother Joe Williams and other men of the Church! The original wooden straight grain floors were kept and refinished. Brother Bev Brown donated a new flatscreen TV and DVD system. It's all beautiful!

Certified Red Cross Emergency Shelter

ChristChurch is a Certified Red Cross Emergency Shelter. We also respond to requests by the City of Chowchilla to serve as a warming shelter during the cold season and a cooling shelter during times of extreme heat.
